ER RN Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Watertown, NY 13601 (New York healthcare jobs) Healthcare Setting : Emergency Department (ER) Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 22 / 2025 – End : 3 / 25 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM), 3 shifts per week Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay : $2200–$2260 Employment Type : Travel nursing assignment Registered Nurse Qualifications Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience (ER or critical care preferred) BLS and ACLS certifications required PALS certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire / transfer Experience with MEDITECH electronic medical records Previous travel nursing experience required Critical Care and charge nurse experience preferred Successful completion of lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation and defibrillation certification within six months of employment IV, medication, and phlebotomy certification required during orientation ER RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department Identify and intervene in life-threatening situations Assess and address clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs of patients Implement safety measures for patients and staff, including safe patient movement Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and function effectively in high-stress situations Exhibit leadership, prioritization, and delegation skills; may assume charge nurse duties Maintain excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Join our healthcare team in Watertown, NY and take the next step in your travel nursing career.
