Purchasing Coordinator

We are seeking four dedicated and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinators to join our team on a contract basis. This role is essential for managing the backlog of Purchase Orders during an ERP implementation. While the position starts as a contract, there is a potential for permanent employment based on performance and business needs. Successful candidates will ensure accurate and timely entry of purchase orders and adherence to standard work procedures.

Responsibilities :

• Enter purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Follow standard work procedures and guidelines.
• Utilize Excel and Outlook for data entry and communication.
• Communicate effectively via phone, ensuring attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Multitask and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Exhibit a driven attitude and a strong work ethic.

Work Environment :

The work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility available. The role is initially a six-month contract, with a business casual dress code. Candidates must wear casual, closed-toe shoes and have steel toe shoes available for access to the manufacturing floor. There may be occasional travel to manufacturing sites in St. Louis or Georgetown for 1 to 3-day visits, with travel expenses covered.

This is a Contract position based out of Greenfield, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
