Pay Range Starts at $125.00 per day Part-Time Benefits include Longevity Bonuses Health Membership Option Retirement Savings (403(b) Option) Discount Programs Tuition Discounts Pet Insurance Help maintain a neat and orderly classroom Help manage behavior of student(s) as needed Discuss assigned duties with classroom teacher(s) in order to coordinate instructional efforts Present subject matter to student(s) under the direction and guidance of teachers, using lectures, discussions or supervised role-playing methods Tutor and assist children individually or in small groups in order to help them master assignments and to reinforce learning concepts presented by teachers Assume responsibility for learning and adapting to each student's special medical, physical, communicative and emotional needs Work with individual student(s) or small groups to develop needed skills and conduct instructional exercises assigned by the teacher Keep teacher informed of special needs and / or problems of student(s) PA Teaching Certification Willingness to go through (and pass!) the required clearances and training to ensure the safety and security of our children, including : four clearances, mandated reporter training, a physical and TB test, and CPR Certification. This can typically be accomplished within a week to get you started. Capacity for sitting, standing, walking, bending and stopping for long periods of time, as these happen throughout the eight-hour day.
