CRAYDL is a builder-first virtual design construction (VDC) studio that aims to reduce waste and miscommunication for professional builders. The founding team are former design and construction professionals that have been frustrated by incomplete, inaccurate, incomplete information from the design team. Today, we are a team of professionals who share a vision and passion about the value of preconstruction planning done with process rigor, precision and transparency.
Our Vision is to make CRAYDL into the preconstruction platform of choice for builders, interior designers, and developers - and by extension - their customers : to drive alignment between design, constructability and owner expectations.
Our Purpose is to mitigate the typical 20%+ waste that occurs in custom construction by providing the most responsive, transparent and understandable design and support process in the custom design-build industry.
About You :
You are an excellent communicator, with deep curiosity about the virtual design construction, ArchViz and BIM tools to drive better outcomes. You are a critical thinker, who holds themselves to high standards and wants to work with other A+ team members. You value transparency, collaboration and being of service to your community. You are upwardly mobile and want to build an exciting career in the VDC space.
Responsibilities :
- Build and maintain LOD 350 models in REVIT for projects
- Develop construction sheets for permitting
- Collaborate with engineers, designers and consultants to include and manage BIM inputs
- Be a client-facing member of our team, to help create information hubs around complex, primarily residential projects
- Consistently add to detail and family libraries
- Facilitate LiDAR scans of existing conditions
- Drive continuous improvement in service levels
