Summary

RNDC is looking for energetic Delivery Drivers who possess a valid State driver’s license. You will play a critical role in delivering products on time and ensuring orders are filled accurately. You will receive training and support to make a meaningful difference. Drivers deliver to an established set of customers including grocery stores, liquor stores, hotels, bars, restaurants, convenience stores, and other venues.

In this role, you will

• Accurately deliver all products by bottle, case, or pallet from the delivery truck to the customer’s account by hand truck.
• Safely operate a commercial vehicle and perform pre- and post-trip inspections, noting any vehicle defects.
• Make an average of 20 timely deliveries a day; may deliver to more accounts during high-volume seasons.
• Verify receipt of the correct order with the customer by checking products against the invoice, obtaining customer signature, and processing payment if necessary.
• Ensure physical security of the truck at all times.
• Provide regular feedback to management on route changes, concerns, or opportunities.
• Abide by DOT hours of service rules and regulations for their license type.
• May utilize a smartphone for HOS software, POD invoicing, and driver monitoring programs.

What you bring to RNDC

High school diploma or GED preferred, two years of delivery experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
