Locum Tenens Opportunity : Family Medicine / Internal Medicine

Are you a dedicated Physician specializing in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a position near Orick, CA, where you can make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our community. Position Details

  • Specialties : Family Medicine, Internal Medicine
  • Start Date : 07-15-2024
  • End Date : Ongoing
  • Shift : Scheduled Clinical Hours Only
  • Allowed Holidays : New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients of all ages
  • Manage a diverse patient population, including some Chronic Pain Management cases
  • Ensure chart closure within 72 hours of patient encounters
  • Minimum of 18 patients seen per day
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care

  • Patients Per Shift : 16
  • Rounding : Not Applicable

    • Qualifications

  • Provider Type : Physician (MD, DO)
  • Board Certification : Certified
  • License Requirement : Licensed in CA only
  • BLS Certification : Required
  • DEA Certification : Active DEA needed before the start

    • Practice Details

  • Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.
  • Patient Population : Mix of pediatrics and adults (Will consider IM only)
  • Decision Timeframe : Typically within 7-14 days
  • Credentialing Timeframe : Estimated 30-90 days
  • Immunizations Required : Flu Vaccine, TB Status / X-Ray Results, Positive MMR Titer or Complete Immunization Series, Positive Hep B Titer or Complete Immunization Series, Positive Varicella Zoster Titer or Complete Immunization Series, Tdap Immunization
