Summary
The Business Process Engineer is responsible for providing and ensuring that team members provide the highest level of customer service, to external customers, executive leadership as well as corporate and field employees. Projects include a broad spectrum of functions within MarketSource (process modeling, gap analysis, technical requirements, change management, SOPs, optimization and best practices).
Essential Job Functions :
- Model sales, marketing, and other business processes utilizing software to measure processes to identify and present bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and how the process can be streamlined for improved efficiency and effectiveness
- Establish work measurement programs to develop standards for efficient utilization of field team and support team
- Design and implement operational methods that promote overall efficiency and reduce costs
- Work closely with support teams to identify gaps, and redundancies, ultimately optimizing and developing prescribed solutions for process improvement
- Conduct data gathering, Workflow, and Process mapping
- Prepare and document business and technical requirements
- Initiate and conduct process improvement analysis (what to automate, what to change, what to eliminate)
- Build and maintain productive customer relationships with program management
- Evaluate appropriate business processes and methods and utilize them daily to ensure results
- Challenge process issues and those working on projects to develop efficient resolution
- Set clear objectives and measures to achieve results while monitoring progress; build avenues for feedback and loops quality assurance into work
- Gain first-hand knowledge to further products and services for the customer
