The Business Development Director will lead aggressive business development efforts with a strong focus on identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities. This role requires a self-driven individual with a deep technical background and an ownership mindset-someone who takes initiative, drives results, and is accountable for revenue growth through strategic customer engagement and solution-oriented selling.
Essential Functions
- Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team to drive innovation and company growth.
- Develop and implement business development strategies that align technical capabilities with business development goals to generate new revenue.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through consultative selling and technical solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and partners.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote capabilities and convert qualified leads.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.

Proven experience in senior technical sales leadership and B2B manufacturing.Demonstrated success in managing technical customer-facing teams.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and customer engagement.Experience in B2B sales, business development, or customer-facing technical roles.Ability to identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities through consultative technical selling.Educational Requirements
5-10 years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment in a Technical Sales or Business Development Leadership role.Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.Travel Requirements
