Job Title

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $125,000 plus bonus, and it comes with benefits, including medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate supervision and ongoing qualitative monitoring of employees responsible for accounts payable, and petty cash reimbursement
• Sets a positive example for employees, is a role model. Supports and trains employees on appropriate strategies using the 5 S's and therapeutic de-escalation skills
• Promotes professional growth in employees, fostering strengths and redirecting efforts as necessary
• Ensure employees attend training related to being trauma informed-at least two every twelve months
• Mediate personnel conflicts with respect and dignity
• Understand the impact of secondary trauma and workplace stress and use strategies to prevent, minimize and/or help employees heal and recover
• Ensure assessment tools used to inform practice and treatment include screens for trauma exposure
• Maintain fidelity of trauma focused interventions and treatment modalities
• Holds regular (at least bi-weekly), documented supervision of supervisees
• Actively involved in planning and delivery of training related to own area of expertise and needs of programs supervised
• Ensure overall timeliness and accuracy of general ledger processing
• Maintain chart of accounts
• Conduct monthly and year-end general ledger closings and internal financial statement and schedule preparation
• Responsible for the accounting of restricted assets and coordinates that activity with the Development department, including qualitative balancing checks of each fund and various accounts
• Review the allocation cost methodology routinely to ensure costs are being properly shared between programs
• Update the A/P staff routinely with current allocations
• Coordinate annual independent audit, including preparation of Agency audited financial statements
• Assist CFO in preparation of annual cost reports and annual CFR
• Other duties, as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Accounting CPA Certification
• Minimum of five years of experience (one of which must be recent experience with a social service/not-for-profit entity)
• Demonstrate high level of PC proficiency in use of General Ledger, Excel Spreadsheet, and MS Word processing software
• Two years of experience in supervising employees
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
