Job DescriptionBODY20 Tempe fitness studio is currently seeking a high energy, go-getter personality for the position of Fitness Coach for our Tempe location. We are seeking a highly motivated, energized and thick-skinned Coach to join our team. As a Fitness Coach at BODY20, you will be responsible for providing members with excellent service as a professional trainer. You will also be responsible for selling memberships when a demo is booked during your shift. As a BODY20 fitness expert, you will complete the demo/sales process from start to finish to assist the studio in building its member baseAll team members are cross-trainedThis is an opportunity for someone with strong coaching skills and a proven track record in Membership Sales. This person must also have a Personal Trainer CertificationCommission is available for demo sales that are closed.

Responsibilities

• Coaching EMS workout sessions for sales demos and members. Personal Trainer Certification required, and EMS certification will be provided after training
• Ask for referrals from existing members (required)
• Assist with calls to demo prospects and members (required)
• Must be available to work offsite Events with other team members when needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
• Attend bi-weekly staff meetings
• Responsible for ensuring that the facility is clean, maintained and operationally sound
• Administer InBody evaluations prior to EMS personal training sessions
• Establish and maintain a high level of service according to company standards
• Provide a high level of personalized attention to members
• Maintain knowledge and/or participation in all club services, programs and products
• Instruct and demonstrate to members on the proper use of equipment and exercise techniques which may include operating equipment and dynamically moving weight up to 50 pounds
• Adjust and operate all EMS and Fitness Equipment to BODY20 standards

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification (required)
• CPR/AED certification (required)
• 1 year of previous Personal Training experience (required)
• 1-2 years of Membership Sales experience (required)
• 1-2 years of Customer Service experience with proven results for Membership Retention (required)
• Required to call current members for check-ins for retention and to call prospects to book a demo (required)
• Not afraid to pick up the phone
• Reliable transportation (required)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills (required)
• Proficiency in CRM software (preferred)
• Has a passion for Fitness, Health, and Wellness. Willing to do an EMS workout at least three times a month in order to enjoy the benefit and speak on the service we offer.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possess honesty and personal integrity
• Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding the fitness industry
• Excel in time management, organizational and follow-up skills
• Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly
• Schedule flexibility is key due to demand

Job Type: Part-time

Base Pay: $18.00 per hour
*This is a hybrid coaching and membership sales position. All team members are crossed trained to sell and to coach. You will be supporting the Owners and the Assistant Manager as another sales driver for prospects and a coaching expert for the members of BODY20 Tempe.*

Hours: Must be flexible to work morning and afternoon shifts
