Wait Staff / Front of House

SALARY : $19.00 Per Hour plus Tips HOURS : Up to 30 hours per week, weekends and evenings, possible split shift. Overtime is not expected, but may be required occasionally. May be required to work Holidays. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : At least 18 years old. Able to communicate effectively and in a timely manner, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to speak, read, and write in English in a manner sufficient to carry out the duties of this position. Minimum of High school diploma or G.E.D preferred. Experience with cash register operation. Friendly and customer-service oriented. Experience in a restaurant preferred. Must have or be able to obtain a Food Handlers Card upon hire. This position requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the work shift. Must be able to lift, stack, and maneuver objects between 10-20 pounds. GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION : Greet customers kindly, take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring a satisfactory dining experience. Communicate orders to the kitchen staff, serve food and drinks promptly. Prepare tables before customers arrive, maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, utensils, and plates. Consistently check in on customers to ensure that their experience is going well and respond to customer complaints with professionalism. Present customers with their checks and accept payments and be able to make change accurately and efficiently. Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation requirements. Take food and beverage orders, paying close attention to special requests and dietary restrictions. Assist with food preparation, as needed Other duties as assigned.
