HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Los Alamitos, California.

Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location : Los Alamitos, CA

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (07 : 00–15 : 30)

Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements :

  • Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures including bone scans, SPECT, myocardial studies, renal flow / perfusion, gastric emptying, HIDA, MUGA, PET, and thyroid studies.
  • Work with GE and Siemens equipment.
  • Handle, store, and dispose of radioactive materials safely.
  • Start and maintain IVs; follow isolation precautions.
  • Provide patient care in an adult and geriatric population within a hospital setting.
  • Participate in weekend call (every other weekend).
  • Certifications required : ARRT N, BLS, State License ; NMTCB preferred .
  • Charting experience with Cerner required.
  • Must comply with all scheduling, call, and holiday requirements; RTO must be submitted with profile.
