We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Medical Receptionist to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for our patients. In this role, you will provide support to our office employees, ensuring they have all the information and resources they need to perform their best. Your responsibilities will include answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, confirming patient appointments, and maintaining a comfortable inviting environment . The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills, has the ability to multitask while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
Responsibilities
Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate person if necessarySchedule appointments and maintain multiple calendarsBuilding rapport with patientsManage / Write emails from staff email account, memos, and letters and distribute them appropriatelyContribute to company reportingMaintain an organized filing systemUpdate, and maintain relevant office procedures as neededAssist with maintaining a clean and inviting environmentQualifications
High school diploma / GED required, Associates degree or administrative training is preferredPrevious experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar positionFamiliarity with standard office equipment such as printers and fax machinesExcellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPointHighly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projectsFriendly and outgoing personalityExcellent communication skills with a focus on patient careStrong work ethic and positive attitude
