Job description

Coverage Need Details :

  • 1 FT provider or 2 providers to cover opposite weeks to help with office visits, video visits, APP supervision (full time), in basket support (admin / clinical tasks), hospital consults (0-5 / month).
  • Minimal hospital consults - done via telephone during office hours
  • Shifts per month : 10-20
  • Schedule : Mon-Fri 8a-430p

Candidates Typical Day : - New patients in 40-60 min slots. Return patients in 20 min slots. Answering questions from APPs as needed. In basket support.

Requirements Notes : -

  • APP supervision of 2 on site PAs.
  • Hospital consults 0-5 / month
  • After hours call 0-5 calls / month

    • Typical Cases Seen : -

  • Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Psoriatic Arthritis
  • Ankylosing Spondylitis
  • Lupus
  • Scleroderma
  • Sjogren's Syndrome
  • Gout and Crystal Arthropathies
  • Osteoporosis / bone health-also consider endo referral as an option vs rheum
  • Vasculitis
  • Inflammatory Myopathies
  • GCA-Giant Cell Arteritis
  • TA-Temporal Arteritis
  • PMR-Polymyalgia
  • Sarcoidosis
  • Reactive Arthritis
  • Reynaud's Phenomenon
  • Wegener's Granulomatosis
  • Polyarteritis Nodosa
  • Positive ANA
  • No set range needed-but looking for additional symptoms such as positive ANA with :
  • Rash
  • Joint Swelling
  • Joint Pain
  • Pleural effusion
  • Pericarditis
