Job description

Lead Teacher

  • KiddyCity Daycare has a full-time position available. This position would assist with early childhood education for our currently enrolled Preschool 1 students. The qualified individual must possess a high school diploma and have at least 6-12 months of childcare experience. Early childhood education is a plus. Interested candidates should email KiddyCity Daycare. Hours of the position are 8 : 30 a.m. - 5 : 30 p.m. M-F.

Duties :

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for preschool children.
  • Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate various subjects such as math, language arts, science, and physical education.
  • Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children to learn and grow.
  • Utilize behavioral health strategies to address any challenging behaviors in the classroom.
  • Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing individualized attention and support as needed.
  • Maintain open communication with Directors, providing regular updates on children's development.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.

    • Experience :

  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
  • Experience in curriculum development and lesson planning.
  • Familiarity with behavioral health strategies for managing challenging behaviors in young children.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and other staff members.
  • Experience in working with children who may require early intervention services.
