The Cardiology Director will oversee critical non-invasive diagnostic servicesEcho, Nuclear, Stress Testing, and PET-CTacross a premier system that includes the highly-acclaimed Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center, Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis, and multiple outpatient locations. Responsibilities include :

• Direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies for the assigned clinical program.
• Develop departmental goals, plans and standards consistent with the objectives of the organization.
• Direct all activities related to staffing including hiring, training, development and evaluation of staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assist with problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services, and systems / performance measures.
• Monitor and adhere to budget. Approve and / or monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
