The role of the Cybersecurity Manager will be to manage all areas of IT cybersecurity and advise the NGB NCR NEC in managing the risk of operating a network to include CCRI and C&A support and tracking. The Cybersecurity Manager will ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity policies and regulations, manage information security risks, and report findings to the Government. They will also oversee the implementation of security measures and maintain the security posture of the IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities :

• Manage all areas of IT cybersecurity and advise the NGB NCR NEC in managing the risk of operating a network.
• Oversee CCRI (Cyber Command Readiness Inspection) and C&A (Certification and Accreditation) support and tracking.
• Ensure compliance with Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) guidance.
• Maintain the NGB NCR NEC LAN and ensure its management systems are compliant with all relevant Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs).
• Conduct weekly security scans of all NGB NCR NEC networked equipment using the current approved network scanning tool and remediate vulnerabilities according to SLA.
• Review reports from the current approved end-point security compliance scanning tool and remediate identified vulnerabilities as required.
• Track Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) compliance.
• Create and submit appropriate security-related reports such as intrusion, virus infection incidents, FISMA, and others as requested by the Government.
• Create and update Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) for identified vulnerabilities.
• Report NGB NCR NEC security compliance to higher-level authorities and / or reporting structures.
• Maintain the Information Security Plan and draft necessary documentation for system connections to NGB NCR NEC networks.
• Validate NGB NCR NEC, ensure managed assets are in compliance with Army Cyber configuration, NSA Configuration Guidance, and NIST Configuration Guidance.
