Lead the development and innovation of branded solutions and offerings to be used across DoD and commercial industry sectors.Drive automation techniques and testing of new systems to optimize clients’ production capabilities.Conduct and review analyses of part production processes, schedules, methods, and other data to better understand future requirements needed for customers’ manufacturing processes.Drive technical execution of projects around focus areas of Industry 4.0 / Digital Factory / Model Based Enterprise / Advanced Manufacturing / Additive Manufacturing.Perform accurate and professional documentation and presentation of technical data, analyses, and reports.Review manufacturing instructions, methods, and processes to identify and improve customer efficiency.Develop process strategy documentation outlining the technical and process changes and analyses.Support active feedback between customers and internal teams to drive improvements.Plan and coordinate work of junior engineering staff in coordination with the leadership team, including providing training and mentoring junior engineering staff as needed.Oversee project progress against planned schedules.Partner effectively with project / program management teams, technical teams, and customers.Take ownership of issues as they arise and initiate corrective actions.Lead small teams of engineers and execute tasks with minimal oversight.Skills & experience we’d like you to have as a Manufacturing Engineer :
Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering4+ years of engineering experience, including design for manufacturing, assembly, reliability, and cost.Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines concurrentlyExpertise in GD&T.Experience with assembly and testing of machined, forged / cast, or fabricated aerospace parts.Demonstrated time management and project management skills.Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively and work with business and technical stakeholders.Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and influential skillsWillingness to travel to customer locations as required; estimated at up to 50% - client dependent.LEAN, Six Sigma, or other process certifications.Experience with Project Planning tools, such as MS Project.Sound interesting?
