Job descriptionTranslate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for teams across operations, finance, sales, and leadership. Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and profitability. Provide data-backed recommendations to enhance operational decision-making and strategy. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing rigorous validation, quality checks, and governance standards. Monitor and troubleshoot BI systems, resolving issues quickly and efficiently. Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver tailored BI solutions. Provide training and support to promote adoption and empower users across the organization. Collaborate with internal teams to advance RWI's data warehouse and analytics infrastructure . Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging BI tools to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities. Drive continuous improvement by implementing innovative data solutions that support growth and scalability. Technical : Strong SQL skills with experience in data modeling, ETL development, and database management. Proficiency data visualization / BI tools, such as DOMO, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Communication and Collaboration : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively to a diverse audience and to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization. Strategic and Analytical Thinking : Capable of identifying growth opportunities and operational improvements, developing strategies, and implementing solutions that align with organizational goals. Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret large, complex datasets and present findings in a clear, actionable manner to drive decision-making and improvements. Position Overview
The Business Intelligence Analyst plays a critical role in turning data into action. You'll design, build, and deliver business intelligence solutions that help our teams and customers make smarter, faster decisions. From analyzing trends and performance metrics to creating powerful dashboards and visualizations, your work will drive insights that fuel operational excellence and strategic growth across our logistics network.
What You'll Do
Data & BI Development
- Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that deliver actionable, real-time insights.
- Design and optimize SQL queries , data models, and ETL processes to ensure clean, efficient data pipelines.
- Support scalable BI initiatives that align with business goals and operational needs.

Qualifications
Educational Background : 4-year degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Experience : 2-4 years of professional work experience in business intelligence and data analysis. Understanding of logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations is preferred but not required.
