Compensation :
$70,000 - $84,000 at plan yearly
Responsibilities :
- Communicate with prospects via email, phone calls or other forms of communication to convert them into qualified leads and funnel them to the sales pipeline
- Record monthly and quarterly sales and performance goals to ensure they are being met
- Expand the clientele by finding new business opportunities within specific geographies
- Maintain the client database to make sure the sales team can access current information on all leads
- Qualify incoming leads so appointments are arranged as fast as possible to provide an excellent customer service experience
In accordance with the ethical rules governing lawyers, the Salesperson will not :
Provide legal adviceQuote a fee (however, the Salesperson may share a fee that has been determined by the Owner), or enter into an engagement with a PNC "Potential New Client"The Salesperson will :
Prepare prospective clients for entering into an engagement with the Owner or other designated attorney by obtaining the client’s signature and then receiving the attorney’s approvalThe Salesperson will conduct in-depth meetings with Prospective New Clients for the purpose of selling legal services. During these meetings, the Salesperson will :
Follow policies and procedures to communicate with PNCs effectivelyCollect information about PNCs for which they are seeking the Firm’s helpAssure the PNCs that the Firm’s attorneys and staff will be able to help themShow compassion for PNC's troublesProvide a general description of the Firm’s services in the area where the PNC needs helpThe Salesperson will oversee the client onboarding process :
Create the Engagement Agreement and accept payment with attorney approvalSend emails to the appropriate parties within the firm to start a new caseFollow up with clients 5 days after being hired and verify that onboarding was completedFollow up with clients 15 days after being hired to ensure they are receiving great client support and answer any of their current concernsThe Salesperson will :
Stay in contact with PNCs who do not appear for their consultation, and PNCs who do not sign up after their initial consultation, to keep the door open for them to come in when they are readyKeep detailed records about the number of PNCs that contact the firm, the number that are scheduled for an initial consultation, come in for initial consultations, the number that engage the firm, and other associated metrics (referral source, average case value, etc.Actively engage in dialogue with management regarding the quality and volume of the leads, offering constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement based on the “front lines” experienceQualifications :
Proven track record of at least 2 years of experience in a sales position or related fieldWorking knowledge of the sales process and CRM softwarePossess a valid U.S. driver’s license and be able to travel by carHigh school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferredSuperb communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as interpersonal skills and time management skills2 years of experience in the sales of products or services in a law firm setting. A proven track record using a consultative sales approach is requiredA strong interest in consultative solutions and sellingExperience with CRM, particularly reporting, is requiredKnowledge of the legal industry is an assetReal-life experience & a few “battle scars” give you empathy and understanding is an assetExperience overcoming a major obstacle in life and making an important change in your life, so you know at your core that others can do it too, is a plusAbout Company
