Ideal Candidate Should Have
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Order to Cash (OTC) processes with SAP S / 4HANA
- Proven experience with SAP SD module , including sales orders, pricing, billing (standard and BRIM), and invoicing
- Successful participation in at least one full SAP S / 4HANA implementation , including data migration from legacy ERP
- Strong understanding of data migration strategies , integration techniques, and end-to-end testing
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, Logistics, and IT
- Proficiency in developing user training, documentation, and change management strategies
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- SAP SD or FI / CO certifications are a plus
Job Description
Thinking Minds Inc. is supporting a client seeking an experienced SAP IT Analyst - Order to Cash (OTC) to join their digital transformation team. This is a remote opportunity for a skilled SAP professional who brings deep expertise in Sales and Distribution (SD) , SAP S / 4HANA , and legacy ERP migration.
This role focuses on the successful design and implementation of SAP S / 4HANA solutions for the Order to Cash cycle. The selected candidate will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to deliver strategic improvements across order creation, billing processes, pricing, customer insights, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Drive SAP S / 4HANA SD module implementations , including system configuration, project planning, testing, and go-live supportParticipate in defining and executing a migration strategy from legacy ERP systems to S / 4HANA , with a focus on sales and distribution processesGather and document business requirements related to OTC processes, ensuring alignment with overall business goalsLead and support data migration activities , identify data quality issues, and map legacy data into SAP S / 4 structuresOptimize order creation workflows , including order entry, pricing, billing corrections, and project / subscription billingDefine and implement reporting and analytics solutions related to order performance and customer behaviorExecute comprehensive testing plans , ensuring data integrity and system performance throughout the implementation cycleSupport change management efforts such as user training, documentation, and driving user adoptionProvide expertise in SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) and related billing modelsCollaborate cross-functionally across Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Logistics, and IT to ensure seamless process integrationRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred)5+ years of relevant IT experience with a focus on SAP OTC and SD modulesDeep understanding of SAP S / 4HANA sales, pricing, invoicing, and order fulfillmentExperience with SAP BRIM, project billing, and subscription invoicing is highly desirableStrong familiarity with cloud-based solutions and third-party system integrationExceptional communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaborationSAP certifications (SD, FI / CO) and IT certifications (PMP, ITIL) are preferred
