Position – Punch Press Operator

Job Location – Woodville, WI

Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Shift – 1st Shift : Monday–Thursday, 7 : 00 a.m.–4 : 30 p.m.; Friday, 7 : 00 a.m.–11 : 00 a.m.

Starting Pay – $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Required Education – High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience – Prior manufacturing experience preferred; willing to train motivated candidates

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work while keeping production running efficiently and safely. You’ll operate punch press equipment, verify part specifications, and help keep the shop organized and productive.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate punch press or blanking machines to produce parts according to job specifications

Load materials, align dies, and monitor press operation to ensure consistent output

Inspect finished parts using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools

Adjust machine settings and perform minor troubleshooting as needed

Maintain accurate part counts and production records

Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

Assist with general housekeeping and machine maintenance to keep work areas clean and efficient

Qualifications

Basic math and mechanical aptitude required

Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, or blueprints

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

Reliable and safety-conscious work ethic

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Previous experience operating punch press or similar equipment a plus, but not required
