We are seeking an experienced Architect II to join our award-winning Architecture team. They will play a key role within the project team in preparing and developing project deliverables. An Architect II must understand contractual obligations and support the Project Managers in executing tasks throughout all phases of the project. This position will require a combination of strong design skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to guide and mentor junior team members. This position also requires strong problem-solving abilities, creativity, adaptability, and a proactive approach to challenges.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture is required
- Minimum 3-5 years of architectural working experience
- Minimum 3 years of AutoCAD and Revit experience
- Minimum 1 year of self-managing small project(s) experience with minimal guidance
- Strong knowledge of codes, guidelines, and regulations applicable to architecture projects including but not limited to Zoning, IBC, ADA, Hawaii Energy Code including local amendments
- Experience using complementing software Photoshop / Illustrator, Sketchup, InDesign a plus
- Highly creative
- Rendering capabilities and familiarity with TwinMotion a plus
- Organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to multi-task projects and establish priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally
- Able to work with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Disciplined and driven to meet and commit to project deadlines
- Strong presentation skills a plus
- Technically inclined towards construction methods and procedures
