Job descriptionConduct inspections of protected distributed systems to verify compliance with applicable security and operational standards outlined in the PWS. Assess system configurations, architectures, and documentation to ensure adherence to cybersecurity and information assurance requirements. Perform vulnerability assessments, identify deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions for distributed systems. Monitor distributed environments for anomalies, risks, and compliance gaps impacting mission assurance. Evaluate system performance, reliability, and security controls against established benchmarks and standards. Support audits, certifications, and accreditation processes for protected distributed systems. Coordinate with engineers, cybersecurity staff, and program managers to address findings and implement remediation strategies. Document inspection results, prepare reports, and present findings to stakeholders and leadership. Assist in developing policies, procedures, and best practices for secure and compliant system operations. Ensure compliance with federal, defense, and organizational regulations governing distributed and protected systems. Participate in risk management, continuity planning, and disaster recovery assessments for critical systems. Provide training and awareness sessions on inspection standards and secure operations for distributed systems. Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and compliance requirements relevant to distributed systems. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the resiliency and security of distributed system operations.

Qualifications :
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or other related discipline is preferred.
- 2+ years of professional experience in facility technical operation and maintenance.
