Seeking a full-time litigation associate attorney to practice in Texas and in California state and / or federal courts. Five years or more of experience in complex civil litigation required. The candidate should be experienced in taking and defending percipient witness depositions, composing and arguing summary judgment and other motions, and be prepared to handle every aspect of our matters. The successful associate will experience case control and client interaction. Trial experience in the first or second chair should be highlighted in cover letters.

Compensation : $145,000 - $225,000

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy development
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and mediations
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation plans and tactics
  • Manage case files, deadlines, and document production in compliance with legal standards

Qualifications :

  • Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree from an accredited law school
  • Successful completion of the Texas Bar exam
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar
  • Effective writer with attention to detail
  • Solid communication and problem-solving skills
  • 5 years of legal experience
