Hours : 3pm-11pm or 11pm-7am
Job Summary :
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting production equipment to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing operations. This position supports quality control efforts, performs routine inspections, and contributes to process improvements to maintain consistent product standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Operate, monitor, and maintain manufacturing equipment and production lines.
Set up and adjust machines for production runs, ensuring efficiency and minimal downtime.
Perform in-process quality checks to verify compliance with product specifications.
Diagnose and resolve equipment or process issues in a timely manner.
Follow all safety procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and company quality standards.
Maintain accurate logs of production activity and equipment maintenance.
Partner with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to improve performance and reduce waste.
Participate in preventive maintenance and assist with minor repairs as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years of manufacturing or production experience.
Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking.
Preferred Skills :
Experience operating automated or CNC equipment.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
Knowledge of PLCs or industrial control systems is a plus.
