Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT (MR) certification, and a state radiology license for night shifts in a hospital MRI department.

Responsibilities

  • Hospital-based MRI department
  • Night shifts, 4x12 hours, Monday through Thursday from 18 : 00 to 6 : 30
  • No call required
  • Candidates may occasionally be required to float to other units as needed
  • Epic EMR is used; experience is preferred but not required
  • Patient population and procedures typical for hospital MRI setting
  • Previous travelers must be separated from the health system by at least one year to be eligible
  • Scrubs may be any color
  • Some holiday coverage may be required depending on unit needs
  • Return-to-work (RTO) requests must be submitted prior to signing, with a maximum of 3 days for auto offers and 7 days for regular offers
  • Individuals with more than one DUI are not eligible
  • Team members may receive support from other imaging staff
  • No modules are required for this assignment
  • License required if applicable

    • Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience
  • Active ARRT (MR) certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Valid state radiology license required; proof of application accepted if license is not yet in hand
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (booster not required)
  • Epic EMR experience preferred but not required
  • First-time travelers not accepted
  • Local candidates within 60 miles not accepted
