This role will involve leading a team to design and test advanced autonomous aircraft and missile systems, managing the product life-cycle from subsystem design through to fully integrated systems. These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft. This role is essential in ensuring that Sierra Nevada Corporation continues to deliver high-quality, innovative products that meet the needs of our customers and contribute to national defense.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground / flight training and complete logistics support. Responsibilities :

• Integration and Testing Solutions : Plan, implement, and maintain solutions for integrating and testing missile subsystems and complete missile systems. Document all processes and maintain thorough records to ensure traceability and repeatability.
• Test and Evaluation : Work with Test and Systems team to develop and execute missile system test and evaluation plans for systems under development. Ensure that test solutions align with customer contractual needs and requirements, while adhering to technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Specification and Standards : Establish functional and technical specifications and standards for missile systems. Address hardware / software interface issues and define input / output parameters to ensure seamless integration of the entire system or subsystem.
• Test Plans and Procedures : Review, evaluate, and derive requirements for testability. Develop and oversee the preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and / or subsystems.
• Coordination and Communication : Coordinate subsystem and / or system testing activities with other programs and organizations within the company. Ensure clear and effective communication across teams to maintain alignment and efficiency.
• Analysis and Reporting : Analyze test results and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports at the subsystem and system levels. Verify and validate system performance against defined requirements.
• Discrepancy Reports and Regression Testing : Write detailed discrepancy reports documenting any issues identified during testing. Perform integration regression testing to verify and validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems, and systems.

Estimated Starting Salary Range : $143,487.14 - $197,294.82. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education / training / certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
