Responsibilities :

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair heating and cooling equipment.
  • Perform maintenance on heating and cooling equipment.
  • Analyze system for safety and efficiency.
  • Offer various solutions to heating, cooling, indoor air quality issues for residential and clients.
  • Communicate with customers regarding options and costs, obtaining approval for repairs / replacements.
  • Document services, explaining guarantees / warranties, collecting payment, and delivering payment to the office.
  • Promote service Memberships.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years HVAC service experience
  • Universal EPA Certification
  • Service experience with traditional split systems, hydronic systems, mini-split systems, humidifiers, water heaters, Space-pak and Unico systems
  • Work with industry-related tools, materials and supplies including ductwork
  • Ability to regularly move, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Detail oriented and customer service focused
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
  • Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Willingness and ability to learn, attend classes for professional advancement
  • Residential HVAC : 5 years (Required)

    • Job Type :

  • Full Time - on road in downtown Chicago, western, and northwest suburbs (including southern WI)

    • Work Hours :

  • 6-10 hour shift Monday through Friday (overtime available)

    • Compensation :

  • Hourly (based on experience)
