Job Description : Personal Care Assistant

Pay : $15 per hour

Benefits : Individual

Responsibilities :

Provide personal care assistance to students with special needs.

Assist students with personal care needs, including toileting / diaper changes and feeding.

Assist students with classroom activities and learning as needed.

Implement behavior management plans and strategies under the guidance of teachers and therapists.

Maintain a safe and supportive environment for students.

Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents / guardians.

Maintain confidentiality of student information.

Participate in relevant training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience working with children with special needs preferred.

Patient, compassionate, and understanding demeanor.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lift and transfer students as needed.
