Responsibilities & Requirements

The PACS Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and overseeing the Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) within Kettering Health. This includes system installation, configuration, troubleshooting, ensuring data security and compliance, implementing updates to optimize workflow, and image access for medical professionals. Collaborate with the Epic Radiant team, modality chairs, and Radiologists to maintain system display protocols for the Radiologists. Work closely with Radiologists to resolve daily issues related to personal display protocols, general functionality, and system / role / user worklists. The PACS Administrator also works in partnership with the Information Systems Radiology, Client Support Systems and Imaging teams on system strategies and processes, including—but not limited to—EMR, Voice Dictation and PACS used by Providers.

• Minimum Education
• Graduation from an accredited Radiology Program with an AS in Radiological Technology or its equivalent.
