Job Title : Community Support Team (CST) Qualified Professional Facilitator

Job Summary :

Responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and CST team members.  Will provide direct therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy, as well as crisis intervention. Will coordinate and link clients to necessary community resources.

Requirements :

• Completion of a Bachelors Degree in a Human Service or related field with 2 years of post Bachelors experience with Mental Health or substance use challenges population, preferably in a community-based setting; meets requirements under 10A NCAC 27G.0104 as a Qualified Professional for Mental Health and a minimum of two (2) years documented experience with the population served…OR
• A non-human service Bachelors Degree may be considered if the candidate has 4 years of experience with the mental health population….OR
• An individual who holds a license of Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina, and also has 4 years of experience with MH / DD / SAS population….OR
• An individual who holds a Master’s degree in a Human Services field and has one year of full-time post-graduate degree accumulated MH / DD / SAS experience with the population served.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health and substance use treatment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours if required.
• Knowledge of human services and NH / DD / SAS network
• Knowledge of State Services and Definitions as outlined in MH / DD / SAS.
• Knowledge of basic office practices and procedures including record keeping and filing systems.
• Knowledge of clinical diagnosis and treatments.
• Valid NC Driver’s License, including personal vehicle insurance coverage and reliable transportation.
• Current license or certification must be maintained, if applicable.
