Program Overview
Peraton provides USSOCOM, its Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), deployed forces, CIO / J6, and end‑users with high‑quality IT platform and network services over an eight‑year period.
About the Role
Asset Manager for the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC)‑3 located in Coronado, CA. The position supports the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order, providing USSOCOM and its components with Operations and Maintenance services to maintain network operations, systems and network infrastructure security, risk management, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Recommend and develop approved processes for managing and tracking the full IT asset, license, and maintenance lifecycle from procurement to retirement.
- Maintain and update approved policies and procedures for effective IT asset lifecycle management, including acquisition, deployment, utilization, de‑installation, reallocation, and disposal.
- Coordinate shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products to satisfy customers, analyze inventory levels and product demand to determine reorder levels, and maintain product availability while minimizing inventory costs.
- Report on inventory levels and efficiently utilize capital investment while maintaining adequate coverage for known / projected demand.
- Advise and support accountability over assigned products and determine appropriate distribution based on lead times and demand.
- Ensure property is uniquely identified and changes are tracked and recorded in accordance with Personal Property Management (PPM) requirements.
- Inspect goods and materials, assess the condition of assets for distribution / recycling.
- Coordinate the disposal of property, supplies, and materiel in compliance with Government and service regulations / guidelines and documentation requirements.
- Maintain records of acquisition / distribution of property, supplies, and materials by utilizing applicable processes.
- Process excess ADPE as identified by the Government using DoD procedures.
- Aid with completing quarterly and annual inventories.
- Recommend metrics, gather data, and report on the effectiveness of the IT asset management processes.
Required Qualifications
BS + 2 years of experience, HS with 6 years of experience, or AA with 4 years of experience.DoD Secret or above with ability to obtain TS / SCI clearance.1 year of experience in an IT and asset management position.Desired Qualifications
Prior experience with Microsoft Enterprise Licensing.Prior experience supporting an enterprise‑level IT contract in a DoD organization.Compensation
Target Salary Range : $66,000 - $106,000.
