Project Location : Columbus, OH 43085 USA

Please note : This role can be based anywhere in the United States, with full-time travel required as part of the Advanced Technology Group.

Position Overview : We are seeking a dynamic National Account Program Manager to enhance client relationships and boost sales across our Market Segment Groups (MSG) during various phases of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Serve as the main point of contact for select MSG national accounts, guiding them through all stages of the sales process and construction project phases.
  • Act as a client advocate to thoroughly understand their needs and deliver outstanding service by proposing tailored solutions.
  • Establish trusted relationships with client stakeholders by providing expert advice and assistance in project planning.
  • Take the lead on preconstruction initiatives and project launches, ensuring clear communication of expectations between all parties involved.
  • Encourage teamwork and open dialogue within the project team and organize national training events to promote high-performance collaboration.
  • Participate actively in industry associations to enhance company visibility, stay informed on market trends, and cultivate relationships with prospective clients and subcontractors.
  • Develop and implement a strategic business plan focusing on client engagement and identifying new opportunities for growth.
  • Stay informed about Turner’s business entities and global resources to fully leverage advantages for our national accounts.
  • Drive the proposal and presentation process to secure deals and manage contract negotiations effectively.
  • Provide effective leadership and coaching to project teams, addressing client feedback and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the financial health of national accounts aligns with company standards and keep abreast of project schedules to meet client expectations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in project management, account management, business development, or related fields, paired with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program.
  • Strong background in construction principles, including cost management, scheduling, estimating, and contract negotiations.
  • Proven ability to build lasting relationships with clients through active listening and effective communication.
  • Demonstrated success in closing deals and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a knack for fostering collaboration and trust.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other collaboration tools.
  • Willingness to travel regularly, including by air and internationally.
  • Physical Demands : This role requires the ability to navigate construction sites, including climbing stairs and ladders, and sometimes lifting objects up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities.

    Work Environment : Employees will work on-site at construction locations, exposed to various elements like moving machinery and outdoor conditions.
