Internship Opportunity With Red Hat

Red Hat is looking for interns to join our People team in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will advocate for the associate experience and experience the culture of our open organization.

During the intern program, you will gain relevant industry knowledge, company exposure and hands-on HR experience and be supported in that journey by an intense learning program and existing Red Hatters. At the end of this program, you are prepared for a variety of roles and will understand where your career path at Red Hat could take you.

Job Responsibilities

• Putting your knowledge of human resources best practices to use by assisting with specific projects under the supervision and mentoring of experienced Red Hatters.
• Use your general human resources knowledge and business understanding to create solutions for a wide range of talent challenges.
• Constantly learn about Red Hat's business, culture and strategy and apply those concepts to enable our most valuable asset, our people.
• Assist your Red Hat team members in setting expectations with stakeholders and delivering a wide variety of solutions to the business.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with your colleagues and the business, developing your own network for long-term placement.
• Use your critical thinking skills to tackle tough problems in an innovative way.
• Proactively look for solutions to prevent problems from occurring.
• Bring innovative ideas and enthusiasm to the team while identifying new opportunities.
• Respond to incidents, escalations, and exceptions in a professional manner.
