Position Summary :

The Field Shop Supervisor will participate in and oversee the installation, repair, and service of Unconventional equipment, such as valves, relief valves, Pressure relief skids (Safeguard Pro), etc. This person will work with customers to plan installation of rental assets, advises and participates in on-site installations.

Essential Job Duties

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements listed herein are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

• Converses with customer or supervisor to plan and assist installation of equipment on customer site.
• Understands blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures and execute accordingly.
• Installs or oversees installation of equipment according to Gilmore's specifications and customer requirements.
• Ability to operate system to demonstrate equipment and to analyze malfunctions.
• Interprets maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repairs equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.
• Instructs and directs employees in servicing and repairing equipment.
• Trains custom ers on proper operation of equipment.
• Consults with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance.
• May supervise workers in testing, tuning, and adjusting equipment to obtain optimum operating performance.
• May advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product improvements.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
• Able to operate Telehandler 10k forklift safely and effectively.

Work conditions will vary and may include working up to twelve (12) hours per day or more in environments with exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors and / or loud noises.
