Warehouse Team Lead

Ryder is immediately hiring a Warehouse Team Lead in Port Deposit, Maryland. Warehouse positions pay weekly plus hourly pay at $23.50 per hour. Additional pay of $1.00 per hour is available when working third shift. Schedules include third shift Wednesday from 12 : 00 am to 6 : 00 am, and Thursday-Saturday from 6 : 00 pm to 6 : 00 am.

We want the right Warehouse Associate to join us at Ryder and work in the safest supply chain environment with state-of-the-art equipment. Products being handled include retail items. Ability to operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, high reach cherry pickers, and computers is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred
• One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• Knowledge and / or experience with an RF scanner advanced required
• Valid forklift operator's license certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective leadership skills
• Possesses flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proactively approaches responsibilities
• Maintains composure under pressure
• Working using health and safety methods
• Bilingual (for Qubec locations only)
