Bowhead seeks a Sr. Cloudera Developer to join our team supporting the AR / PA IT Program at Naval Surface Warfare Center - Corona in Corona, California. The Sr. Cloudera Developer will work directly with the client analyzing complex and unique technical support assignments and lead or collaborate with engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and program analysts within an agile environment. They will report to the Program Manager of the Task Order. They will consider overall project design including cost, schedule, and social issues that may be associated with a project.

Responsibilities

• Strong experience developing scalable ETL / ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Deep understanding of Cloudera security components : Ranger, Kerberos, and data masking
• Familiarity with integrating Cloudera in government data lake or analytic environments
• Experience developing in Python, Java, or Scala in a distributed computing environment
• Knowledge of data ingestion tools like NiFi, Sqoop, or Kafka

Physical Demands :

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS : Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
