Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a Level 1 Trauma, teaching hospital, requiring a minimum of 4 years of CT experience and ARRT (CT) certification.

Details

• 637-licensed-bed Level 1 Trauma designated teaching hospital with a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center
• CT department serves inpatient, outpatient, and ER patient populations with an average of 100 patients per day
• GE scanners and Philips PACS are used in the department
• Epic EMR is used for charting
• 12-hour day shifts, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM (36 hours/week)
• No call or on-call requirements
• No weekend rotation
• Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays that fall during the contract
• May float to inpatient and ER areas
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of CT experience required
• ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications required
• IV start proficiency required
• Active state license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Additional Information

• New employee orientation (NEO) followed by 1 day of departmental orientation
• RTO requests require manager approval
• Black scrubs are required
• Candidates who have worked a permanent position at an AHSE facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
• Local candidates are accepted — no radius rule applies and the same rate is offered to local travelers (GA facilities)
