Teller II

The Teller II conducts transactions with speed, accuracy, and efficiency, meeting or exceeding service quality standards while safeguarding bank assets assigned to them. This role contributes to the bank's growth by promoting and cross-selling bank products and services.

Essential duties and responsibilities include : receiving, paying out cash, handling negotiable items, loan payments, deposits, withdrawals and transfers; setting up, closing, and balancing teller station; recording sales of monetary instruments; maintaining neat and well stocked teller area; cross selling bank products and services; following limits established for protection of customer accounts and bank safety and soundness; adhering to bank policies and procedures; assisting with balancing Vault, ATM, Night Drop, Coin Machine as assigned; assisting with proper scanning of bank documents and proof work; exercising judgment when applying holds and making check cashing decisions; cross training to be available to open basic new consumer accounts; adhering to work schedule; maintaining positive, friendly and professional attitude and appearance; performing miscellaneous duties as assigned; completing required BSA / AML and other required compliance training as assigned; lifting coin bags up to 50 lbs; and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. May be required to work an alternative location within the region or market.

Qualifications : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily.
