Job description

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Pulmonology MD in Kentucky!

About The Position

We are seeking a Pulmonologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky starting Nov 3, 2025. This opportunity offers Monday to Friday clinic coverage with scheduled weeknight and weekend call responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience with pulmonary patient consults and be board certified in Pulmonary Disease.

  • LOA : 60 days
  • Provider Type Needed : Pulmonologist
  • Schedule : Monday to Friday 8 : 00 am – 4 : 30 pm clinic; weeknight call 4 : 30 pm – 8 : 00 am; weekend 24-hour call; up to 15 days of call coverage per month in addition to clinic work

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide pulmonary patient consults in a clinic setting
  • Deliver outpatient care Monday through Friday
  • Participate in weeknight and weekend call rotations (up to 15 call days monthly)
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records
  • Adhere to all clinical protocols and best practices

    • Additional Information

  • Required board certification : Pulmonary Disease
  • Active Kentucky medical license required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with pulmonary consults
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
