Company hub is based in Atlanta, Georgia. Regional routes cover North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia so we're open to hiring drivers from those states as well

We are currently hiring dry van drivers for regional routes. More about the opportunity is entailed below

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip loading and unloading inspections after every delivery ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved.
• Maintain a current commercial driver's license (CDL Class A)
• Perform equipment inspections and manage operational maintenance regularly (E.g., oil changes, maintenance of fluid levels, tire pressure etc.) Notify senior leadership of any maintenance or repairs needed to the tractor-trailer.
• Communicate daily with dispatch for pickup and delivery locations and appointments.
• Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verify instructions and routes by map, GPS, and dispatcher contact.
• On-time pickup and delivery of cargo.
• Drive tractor-trailer during route delivery…maintain DOT logs and drive accordingly and deliver the products within appointment window.
• Maintain effective communication with dispatch and senior leadership to promote opportunities for cooperation and collaboration of successful ideas.
• Immediate submission of important documentation such as Bill of Ladings.  BOL must be submitted within an hour of receipt; emailed to email address provided with the load number, time of arrival and time of departure from shipper or receiver.  This should also reflect on BOL paperwork. Load number must be indicated in subject line.
• Efficiently handle necessary dispatch paperwork.
• Plan OTR travel routes in accordance with traffic and bulk cargo transportation laws, regulations, and guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness of worksite.
