The Motor Vehicle Dealer Board (MVDB) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to the Board, its members, and staff. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations and plays a vital part in protecting consumers and regulating Virginia's motor vehicle sales industry.

Minimum Qualifications :
Demonstrated experience providing administrative or office support in a professional environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to learn agency-specific systems. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive matters. High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or coursework in business administration, public administration, or related field preferred.
Additional Considerations :
Experience working in a regulatory, compliance, or public sector environment. Familiarity with state government operations, procurement, FOIA requirements, and records management. Knowledge of motor vehicle dealer licensing, consumer protection laws, or transportation-related regulations.
