Job Description

As a Melter Furnace Operator you will ensure heats are properly weighed and ready to be melted. Prepare the ladles and molds for each heat. Transport the finished molds after each heat.

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure furnaces and ladles are in safe working condition
  • Weigh up charges according to melt reports
  • Stage and prepare mold for pouring
  • Pour molds

    • Qualifications and Requirements :

  • Ability to work SAFELY by following policies and procedures in an industrial environment
  • High School diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent
  • Must be able to covey issues or concerns relating to the production and finishing of cores.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, job tickets, and procedure manuals written in English.

    The base salary range for this position is $20-26 / hr., excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
