Pay : $55,000 - $70,000 Salary + Commission + Benefits

Job Summary :

Apex is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Sales Representative to generate new business, develop strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth within our target markets. This role requires a motivated sales professional who excels in consultative selling, negotiation, and business development. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales and a results-driven mindset to identify opportunities, close deals, and support long-term customer satisfaction. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Sales Representative to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing commercial clients.
  • Conduct site assessments and provide tailored waste management solutions to meet client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present proposals, reports, and sales forecasts to management.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Additional duties include identifying prospective customers and building new business pipelines, cold calls and large format presentations, exceptional follow-up skills that lead to closed-won sales.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • 4+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in waste management, environmental services, logistics, or a related industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close sales.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with internal teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the designated territory.
  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience in sales may be considered in lieu of a degree.

    Working Conditions :

  • Monday–Friday, standard business hours, with occasional evening or weekend work depending on client availability or business needs.
  • Combination of office work and field visits to client sites, including industrial, commercial, and outdoor environments.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods while meeting with clients or conducting site assessments.
  • Frequent local travel within assigned territory; occasional travel outside the region for training or company meetings may be required.
  • Weather Conditions : May be exposed to various weather conditions while conducting on-site visits.
