Mercor is recruiting **Film and Video Editors** as independent contractors working on a research project **for one of the world’s top AI companies.** This project involves using your professional experience to design questions related to your occupation as a Film and Video Editor.Applicants must: - Have **4+ years full-time work experience** as a Film and Video Editor; - **Be based in the US, UK, or Canada** Here are more details about the role: - We aim to make **the hourly compensation rate offered to you competitive based on your professional background and geographic location** (please note that the listed hourly compensation scale is for U.S.-based applicants and that that scale will differ depending on where a candidate is geographically based) - The work is **fully asynchronous** and can be done around your schedule - Please note you will need access to a desktop or laptop computer for this project and that we **cannot accept applicants who use chromebook computers** - The project is a **short term sprint** – we expect high numbers of hours of work available With respect to pay and legal status: - **We can meet industry-standard compensation expectations for your current role** - We will pay you out weekly via Stripe Connect based on the number of project work hours that you log - You will be classified as an “at-will” contractor to Mercor - Please note that we **cannot currently support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates**
