Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns within the food and beverage location. Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and / or patrons while upholding Allied Universal standards. Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols specific to the food and beverage environment. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access. At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
