Position Purpose/Summary
As an Environmental Services Aide, you’ll be responsible for keeping our facility clean, safe, and welcoming. Your work will help maintain the high standards that make Trinity Grove a trusted home for so many.
Key Responsibilities
- Dust designated areas and items throughout the facility
- Dry mop specified areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Empty trashcans, clean when needed, and replace liners
- Clean assigned bathroom fixtures and chrome surfaces
- Clean walls and remove paper/debris from floors as directed
- Report repairs or maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain a safe environment and report any hazards
- Understand and use emergency equipment when appropriate
- Keep all information confidential
- Interact courteously with residents, staff, and visitors
- Participate in ongoing educational programs
- Demonstrate Trinity Grove’s mission, vision, and values every day
- Perform other duties as needed for facility operations
Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
- Familiarity with cleaning and housekeeping procedures preferred
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Visual acuity and clear communication skills
- Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and up to 10 pounds regularly
- Ability to walk extensively, climb small ladders, stoop, and bend at the waist as needed
- Occasional outdoor work and possible exposure to cleaning chemicals or body fluids
