Salary Range : $80- $130k

Security Requirements

Must be a US citizen or a legal resident for three of the past five years. Public Trust cannot be granted without meeting the residency requirement.

Must meet eligibility requirements for a US Public Trust security clearance (moderate risk), including a soft credit check and criminal background check. Please refer to the criteria listed in 5 CFR 731.202 to understand the Public Trust suitability requirements.

Job Summary

This position will provide, design, develop, and implement data visualizations providing business intelligence and data reports to operate on computer and mobile devices. Candidate must support the development of web-based data collection tools / systems, Business Objects Reports, Universes, and Dashboards.

Relevant Experience

The position requires 5+ years of experience in operations research, modeling and simulation, or technical analysis. Specific experience with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or the Aviation Industry is desired.

Essential Job Functions

General Support

• Individual will utilize data sets to identify specific data targets.
• Individual will conduct usability studies, updating mockups, and provides a visualization of the data / analysis, presentations styles, and frequency of updates.
• Individual will use innovative techniques incorporating cloud based general tool sets to make the dashboards / data useful and more accessible to the end users through mobile apps or mobile pages,
• Individual will develop graphing capability to display data and enable analysis for presentation into dashboards and functionality to support user created reports and dashboards for enterprise use.
• Individual will develop Safety Services related reports, send notifications, provide batch updates, and tack requests / reports through categorization that will manage and identify the types of change requests that can be avoided later by enhancing the system.
• Individual will also support process and policy improvement for operations research and modeling guidelines, including research and assessment of operations research tools.
• Individuals will be required to contribute effectively to working groups through oral and written communication and cooperative working relationships
• Individuals will support the develop of custom visualizations

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)

Master’s degree is a plus and may count as additional years of experience.
