Salary : $70,000-$90,000

Our client, an AS9100 certified company with over 65 years in business, seeks a Weld Shop Supervisor. The weld shop supervisor will work in conjunction with our other weld supervisor to supervise a team of welders, fitters, prototype mechanics, and utility workers while working with all levels within the company to coordinate and align efforts to meet our customers needs.

Your Qualifications should include :

• 3+ years of manufacturing management experience
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other related fields, AND / OR 7-10 years of overall manufacturing experience
• A strong background in metal fabrication includingproficiency in MIG and TIG welding, as well as advanced fitting experience
• Experience with aluminum and steel welding per AWS specifications D1.1, D1.2, D15.1, and D17.1
• Strong computer and blueprint reading skills.

Experience with Lean Six Sigma, ERP / MRP systems, and working within ISO9001 and AS9100 standards are pluses!
